Trans Joy is a community practice centered on amplifying trans joy, care, and community knowledge through media, public storytelling, advocacy, and free intergenerational events. This work is also public scholarship: it makes questions of vulnerability, legitimacy, voice, recognition, and alternative rhetorical spaces materially consequential.

Care as knowledge and relation
Care, media-making, advocacy, and gathering produce and circulate community knowledge. They also shape the conditions in which people can speak, be recognized, and form relations. These questions have practical consequences for trans life.
